Rangers’ conducted a search operation in Lyari area of the city and arrested six suspects from the area.
According to reports, rangers’ conducted an operation in Sangho Lane, Phool Patti Lane, Shah Beg Lane and Aath Chowk areas and undertook house-to-house search after closing down all entry and exit points of the localities. Rangers also recovered weapons from the possession of the nabbed suspects. Later, the arrested people were sent to an unknown location for further investigation.
Meanwhile, at least two persons were killed in a firing incident in Lyari while a tortured dead body of an old woman was found from Malir area.
According to rescue sources, two persons were killed near Meeran Naka, Lyari. Sources said that the victims were shot in the head. On the other hand, a tortured dead body of an 85-year-old woman was found from a house situated in Rafah-e-Aam Society, Malir.
