Liaqat Bagh Sports Complex to get a swimming pool

District Government Rawalpindi on Tuesday chalked out a plan to construct a swimming pool in Mini Sports Complex at Liaqat Bagh.
The project would be completed at the cost of Rs 30 million. Rawalpindi district administration sources said PC-1 of the swimming pool had been worked out and sent to government of Punjab.
As per project, the swimming pool would be constructed on the space lying close to the indoor gymnasium of the sports complex. In the first phase, the boundary wall of the swimming pools would be constructed and a sitting arrangement for over 2000 people would be carved out in the main hall in the second phase.
The construction work on swimming pool would start after the general elections are held.
