Rawalpindi Cantonment Board on Wednesday challaned 75 shopkeepers and recovered two truckloads of goods during an operation against encroachments in different parts of the city.
According to a Cantt Board official, Cantt Board CEO had issued the directives to conduct the operation.
“Therefore a team of the board staffers, under the supervision of Fiyaz Khan, challanded 75 shopkeepers in Tench Bhata and RA Bazaar. They also raided Allahabad, Miserial Road and Chungi No 22 and confiscated two truckloads of goods,” the official said.
The goods have been stored in the Cantt Board office.
