Pakistan Muslim League senior central leader Parvez Elahi has said that PML-N had grilled the poor for five years and now it was high time that people take revenge in upcoming elections. He was addressing a large number of candidates for party tickets for national and provincial assemblies, who had come from different districts of Punjab on Tuesday.

Elahi said that everyone was well aware of PML-N’s ‘inefficiencies’. He said that his party candidates would restore the development works stopped by PML-N government after winning elections. He claimed that during his tenure, the Punjab government had a surplus of Rs 100 billion, while the current government had turned that surplus into a deficit of Rs 500 billion.
