A 10-year-old girl, perturbed by her step mother’s torture, approached Islampura Police Station for help on Monday.
According to the police, Fatima appealed for protection against her mother’s torture. However, she refused to tell her address and telephone number fearing her parents would take her back home. The police shifted the girl to Edhi Home and started investigations.
