SC moved for treason case, placement of Pervez Musharraf name in ECL

Khateeb Lal Masjid Maulana Abdul Aziz has approached Supreme Court (SC) seeking placement of former president Pervez Musharraf in Exit Control List (ECL) and registration of treason case against him.

The petitioner has taken the plea in the petition that Pervez Musharraf was behind the massive killings of several innocent people and students in Lal Masjid incident and other heinous wrong doings. Therefore, such person be not only be proceeded against under law but his name be also placed in ECL, he requested. Pervez Musharraf is facing several cases in courts and he was on preventive bail, he said.

The petitioner has made interior minister and federal government respondents in his petition.

The petitioner has prayed the court to order for putting name of Pervez Musharraf in ECL besides registration of treason case and initiation of action against him. Such person be also not allowed to take part in political activities, he further prayed.

  The best thing a Pakistani should do is to go out and vote, make his voice be heard no matter who he votes for.Just remember one thing,its election time,so every politician behind the podium and bullet proof glass will be making promises.Just keep the last 20 years in mind when making that decision,PPP,Sharifs and Musharaf are the ones who has ruled the country in that time period,now you can add Imran Khan if you like what he has to say.There is no payment(repay) time,this is the time to not make the same mistakes by electing lying,cheating,loud talking,no progress making parties.

This nincompoop of a maulvi should know that a case for treason can only be filed by the government and not by any individual. But then anything is possible with a Judiciary on Steroids.

I wish somebody would buy a full page ad in every major newspaper and compare Musharraf's rule with the present rule side by side. Musharraf may have been acused of many things but he has never been accoused of corruption like ppp, pml(n), pml(q),mqm and all the other that have been in power. IK is excleded because he has not held a public office.

  Musharraf not corrupt? Remember that upon retirement, senior Army officers receive two plots of land to use for whatever they would like. Musharraf had EIGHT plots, including one prime plot in Gwadar. His cupboard was also full of Armani suits. Tell me in which legal manner he obtained all this wealth?

    I am not in favour of MUSH but you must understand that he had been head of the state for approx 10 years. Being head of the state the nation doesn't leave you alone, there are certain perks and privileges which come with the job. will you compare him with Zardari and Nawaz shrif wealth wise?

You all those who favor a murderer, you say you are muslims? First duty of a muslim is to get a murderer behind bars unless proven innocent. Whole Pakistan knows he is a murderer. So, if you are muslims, then do according to what your religion tells you to do with a murderer.
