A young man was killed and two others were injured in different acts of violence in the metropolitan on Monday.
The body of a young man bearing torture marks was found dead near a drain in Mauripur area within the limits of Mauripur Police Station. The body was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi for medico-legal formalities. The identity of the victim could not be ascertained until the filing of this report. Police said the body was three-days-old.
Separately, 22-year-old Muhammad Fahim, son of Irshad, was injured in firing by unidentified armed men in Landhi No 4 within the remit of Landhi Police Station. The injured was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for medical treatment.
Similarly, a man named Ziauddin, son of Salahuddin, was injured in firing by unknown motorcycle riders near Shaheen Hotel in Shershah area in the premises of Shershah Police Station. The injured was later shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for treatment.
