Sindh Ranger’ Director General (DG) Maj General Rizwan Akhtar called on Sindh caretaker Chief Minister Justice (r) Zahid Kurban Alavi at the CM House here on Monday.
Maj Gen Rizwan briefed the care taker CM about the law and order situation of Sindh province, and particularly of Karachi.
He also apprised the CM about action initiated by rangers’ against criminals and anti-social elements in the restless areas of the metropolitan. CM Kurban stressed upon Maj Gen Rizwan to have coordinated efforts with police and other law enforcing agencies, so as to maintain an efficient law and order situation in the city and to ensure security of life and property of the citizens. CM Kurban added that peaceful atmosphere was very essential for holding of general election, and it was the prime objective of caretaker government to hold free, fair and transparent elections in the country.
