Two witnesses have refused to identify Shahrukh Jatoi in the Shahzeb Khan murder case.
An Anti Terrorism Court (ATC), led by Judge Ghulam Mustafa Memon, took the case for hearing on Monday.
The investigation officer presented two witnesses, Shahryar and Aamir, in the court but the two deviated from their earlier statements and refused to identify Shahrukh Jatoi.
They took the plea that they were not present on the scene at the time when the murder took place and they did not see what had happened therein.
Shahzeb, 20 was gunned down in a posh area of Karachi on December 25, 2012.
Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry had taken a suo motu notice when the police failed to arrest the accused even after a lapse of a week. The case was later transferred to the ATC.
