Unidentified men sprayed with bullets the residence of PML-Q Punjab President Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi on Friday.
According to sources, 9mm bullets were fired directly on PML-Q leader’s house, however no damage was reported.
As per details, four unidentified men reached Elahi’s residence on black Honda car, registration number LZS or LZF 130, making their way from Hafiz Center, sprayed the house with bullets and fled.
Sources report that the men drove towards FC Collage underpass after the incident. The security at Elahi’s residence has been on high alert ever since.
Source report that Elahi was not at his house when the incident took place. The traffic wardens deployed at FC College signal and the security personnel at Elahi’s residence did not take any action.
Model Town Police Station SP Awais Malik said that when he got to know about the incident he put the security personnel around the city on high alert.
He said that they had got the registration number of the car from CCTV footage and the men would be caught soon.
