Militants blew up an 18 inch gas pipeline on Friday due to which the gas supply has been suspended to Och power plant.
According to Media reports, due to the explosion the gas supply to Och power plant was suspended leaving many areas in the dark. However later the gas supply to the power plant was restored from Sui and power was restored.
It is significant to mention here that Och Power plant provides electricity to Sibbi, Quetta, Chaman and several areas of Punjab.
Meanwhile, the Officials claimed that the repair work of gas pipeline would be started soon.
