The Election Commission of Pakistan has asked the political parties to provide with their candidates’ names for the reserved seats.
Sources said that the ECP has sent a letter to the political parties, seeking names for the reserved seats in the National Assembly (NA) and provincial assemblies.
The ECP has directed the parties to send their names for the NA’s reserved seats for Non-Muslims and minorities to the DG election commissioner Islamabad.
The letter further states that the names for the reserved seats for women in NA and provincial assemblies should be sent to the provincial election commissioners. NNI
