PTI all set for ‘Tsunami Plus’

Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) has finalised its arrangements to hold a public meeting at Minar-e-Pakistan on March 23. Torch bearing processions were held in different parts of the city on Thursday, while a rally was arranged by PTI Gulberg at Liberty Chowk. The rally was led by PTI Lahore President Abdul Aleem Khan.

 

PTI’s Nazir Chauhan and other office bearers including Zahid Sherwani, Mian Tariq and APA Shahnaz were also present on the ocassion. Addressing on this occasion, Abdul Aleem Khan said that people have decided to support change in the country and now Imran Khan would be the next leader who would pull the country out of crises. He said that citizens would make history by heavily participating in PTI’s public meeting on March 23.

Khan visited Minar-e-Pakistan and reviewed the arrangements being made. He said strict security arrangements have been made at Minar-e-Pakistan and no one would be allowed to enter the area without being frisked. He also visited different towns in city and held meetings of the elected office bearers of PTI.

Meanwhile, Abdul Aleem Khan was given a reception by the candidates of PTI Cantt where Maj(r) Javed Zameer, Ibrar ul Haque, Maj.(r) Mahmood Bhatti, Fawad Bhullar, Mohammad Awais, Dr Saamaa Tauqeer, Najma Haleem and Tabinda Mahmood were present among a number of other PTI office bearers and workers.

Khan congratulated the newly elected office bearers and expressed hope that party would be more strengthened in the coming days. He said that oath taking of 80,000 elected representatives would be a historic event.

Moreover, Khan visited Aiwan-e-Iqbal and casted his vote for the central elections of PTI.
