A 15-year-old girl on Thursday suffered burn injuries when unidentified motorcyclists threw acid on her while she was returning home in Lahore’s Cavalry Ground area.
Per details, Rida Zainab was returning home along with her maid when two unidentified motorcyclists tried to throw acid on her face but missed their target. The motorcyclists came back and tried again, this time burning the victim’s arm, while her face remained safe. The culprits managed to escape from the scene.
After the incident the victim was shifted to a hospital by rescue 1122.
The reason behind the attack was still not known. Meanwhile, an FIR was registered with Factory Area Police Station.
