Master Paints makes it to Guinness World Records, again

Pakistan based paint manufacturer Master Paints made it to the Guinness World Records for the second time by making the largest paint swatch.

The paint swatch made by Master Paints was 84 square feet and 24 percent bigger than the last rescored that was made by PPG Pittsburgh Paints in the US on April 2011.

Measured by GWR adjudicator Carlos Martinez on March 13, the paint swatch was displayed during Punjab Youth Festival at the Athlete’s Hall of Punjab Football Stadium Lahore, Pakistan.

“The last record of the largest paint swatch measured 6.31 square meters (68 square feet) while our paint swatch was 84 square feet. Breaking the paint swatch record under such weather conditions was quite a challenge. Keeping the swatch in good condition required a lot of technical attention. Credit goes to the participants who created the paint swatch with dire dedication,” said Amin Farooq Sufi, MD at Master Paints.

Last year, on March 23, Master Paints made the largest canvas world record by taking Pakistan to The Guinness World record. The largest paint swatch record this year is yet another gift to the nation this year by Master Paints.
