Asma Jehangir, Mian Amir Mehmood pull out of caretaker set up

Former President Supreme Court Bar Association Asma Jehangir and former district Nazim Mian Amir Mehmood have regretted to accept any responsibility in the caretaker setup in Punjab.

Talking to the media in Lahore on Tuesday‚ she said that she is grateful to PML-N and PPP for suggesting her name for caretaker PM and Cm. She said that even being nominated is a great honour for her, adding that she would not accept any responsibility in the care taker set up. She said that she has no lust for any post and the issue of caretaker setup should be resolved through consultations.

Asma further said that first the country was run by generals and now judiciary. She said it is not necessary that now judiciary should run the country. The judges after retirement should rest and sit at home.

Former Nazim Mian Amir also regretted to accept any post in the caretaker set up due to his journalistic responsibilities.

    • Beta jee bajee is surely highly disliked by mullah and military clowns and both still control the Pakistan poltical scenario so no one think of accepting Asma as political leader as long as backward corrupt mafia is pushing the strings of puppetry govt.

        P.S: no one accept Asma as Pakistani political leader but everyone do accept her as Indian agent in Pakistan.

        • when agencies are unable to find the clues of foreign intervention in mess spreading around us,they start putting label on prominent political or civilian vocal voices who constantly and courageously speak against undue political interference of army establishment.In Pakistan speaking against wrong doings of army means the person should be labelled as Indian agent.My generation has known this national secret code and in the mission of encoding this wrongly fabricated concept in the chapters of nationalism.
