Abbasi Shaheed Hospital MS among 5 killed in Karachi violence

Five people, including the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital medical superintendent, were killed in various incidents of violence in Karachi on Tuesday.

Abbasi Shaheed Hospital MS, also assistant professor of medicine, Dr Asad Usman, and his guard were shot dead in Nazimbad area.

According to police, unidentified armed motorcyclists opened fire on Usman’s car when he was on his way home from the hospital.

Usman and his guard were taken to hospital where doctors pronounced them dead. An investigation has been launched into the incident.

Meanwhile, two men were shot dead in a firing incident in Shamsi Society of Malir while one was killed in Landhi area.
