Sindh government’s Information and Archives Department has constituted an advisory board for preparation of policy guidelines for publication, selection/printing and acquisition of books, documents, manuscripts, archival record, project lead and other works of Sindh archives.
The Advisory Committee been had appointed for an initial three-year tenure and setting up of administrative committee with public participation would enhance the status credibility and working of Sindh Archives.
The Board shall consist of the secretary information as a chairman, Hameed Haroon, CEO Dawn as co-Chairman, Dr Kaleemullah Lashari, Secretary Antiquities Department, Nazar Muhammad Sheikh, Ex-Federal Secretary, Abdul Hameed Akhund, Secretary Endowment Fund Trust, Noman Ahmed, NED University of Engineering & Technology, Dr Rafia Ahmed Shaikh, Ex-Pro Vice Chancellor, University of Sindh Jamshoro and GA Allana, Scholar/Ex-Vice Chancellor as members.
The Sindh Archives director shall act as member/secretary.
