Qatar football delegation visited PFF

Qatar Football Association has agreed upon establishing a long term partnership for the promotion and development of football in Pakistan by providing technical and professional support to PFF in various fields including Youth Development, Training of Coaches and development of Women Football.

This decision was taken at a high powered meeting between  Qatar Football Association headed by its President  Hamad Khalifa A.A Al- Thani, and  President, Pakistan Football Federation, Faisal Saleh Hayat PFF at Football House here. The Qatari Delegation comprised of 8 members including Hassan Abdulla H.R Al-Thawadi (GeneralSecretary, Qatar 2022 Supreme Committee), Ali Mohamed N B Al-Naemi (Assistant General Secretary, QFA) and Tariq A. Aziz Al-Naama (Dy. Chairman, AspireAcademy).

“Training and professional facilities to the Pakistan National Team would be made available in Qatar as and when required. QFA would also assist PFF in up grading its infrastructure and allied facilities vital to the development of football in Pakistan”, said a spokesman of PFF  on Monday.

He said a detailed presentation on the marketing strategies adopted by PFF was also made during the meeting. QFA agreed to further study the proposals given by the Marketing Consultant PFF Sardar Naveed Haider Khan in order to further stimulate the game in Pakistan. The Marketing Consultant has also been invited to visit Qatar for further in depth studies of the proposals.

The close and fraternal bilateral relations between PFF and QFA were further strengthened as a result of this first ever high powered visit of QFA Delegation. The President PFF lauded the efforts of QFA and the state of Qatar in bringing the prestigious FIFA World Cup to the brotherly State of Qatar in 2022 . He further emphasized that this historic World Cup 2022 would prove to be a much needed stimulus for the entire region in taking Soccer to new heights of development. It would further re-enforce the Asian region as a strong Football Power House. The entire Youth and soccer enthusiasts around the world, look forward to seeing the Qatar, 2022 FIFA World Cup achieve new glories. PFF also offered its cooperation to QFA in the successful holding of this prestigious event.

The President QFA  Hamad Khalifa A.A Al- Thani lauded the role of PFF in strengthening the institutional development in this region. He also lauded the services of PFF President in playing a constructive and positive role for the development of Football in Asia both in his Capacity as President PFF and member AFC Exco and Chairman AFC Legal Committee. He further resolved to take the bilateral partnership between both the federations to new levels of mutual cooperation.
