JUI-F Secretary General Senator Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri on Sunday said a consensus had been evolved for the caretaker setup in Balochistan and the chief minister would send a summary for the dissolution of provincial assembly to the governor on March 19. In a telephonic chat with journalists, the JUI-F leader said the assembly would be dissolved on Tuesday, March 19 and a caretaker set up would be in place the same day. He said it was unfortunate that the prime minister and the leader of the opposition had not agreed on a name of caretaker prime minister. Haideri emphasised that the issue must be settled by politicians themselves, even if in the parliamentary committee. He was of the view that if the caretaker prime minister was decided by the Election Commission, people would have negative impression of politicians that if they could not agree on the name of the caretaker prime minister, how could they resolve national crises. Haideri said talks were underway between the PML-N and JUI-F for electoral alliance in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Sindh. He said there had been no significant movement on seat adjustment in Balochistan, but whenever a deadlocked occurred, Maulana Fazlur Rehman and Nawaz Sharif would resolve it.
