The principal of a private school in Sandha kidnapped a young female teacher with the help of his son and accomplices. According to details, the sub-inspector investigating the case joined hands with the kidnappers and refused to follow the case. On this, the relatives of the kidnapped teacher launched a protest and demanded from Punjab IGP, Lahore CCPO and other high officials to ensure the safe return of their daughter.
The kidnapped female teacher namely Amna Akbar was a resident of Prem Nagar, Sandha and used to teach Alfalah School located in Riwaz Garden area. Two days ago, Amna’s brother Ali Asghar dropped his sister at the school and when he later came to pick her up, he was informed by the school principal, namely Abdul Sattar, that his sister has left the school with her friend Kiran. When contacted, Kiran said that Amna had not visited her place at all. Later, Ali lodged a complaint with the police and a case was registered against the principal’s son Asad and his other accomplices.
Relatives of the missing woman said while protesting that the investigation officer Falak Sher had refused to act against the kidnappers. Even after the lodging of an FIR, the principal of the mentioned school had managed to get a bail, while the police was refusing to arrest Asad and his friends.
Mother of two commits suicide: A mother of two shot herself to death in the area of Kahna on Saturday. Police shifted the dead body to a morgue and have started investigation into the incident.
According to police, the deceased named Yasmeen got married to Ghulam Murtaza a few years back. On the day of the incident, Yasmeen shot herself in the chest after a minor argument with her husband. She was rushed to the hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.

Per details, the dead body of a 70-year-old unidentified person was seen by the locals who later called the police. Police said that the person seemed to be a drug addict and might have died due to an overdose of drugs.
Meanwhile, a 50-year-old beggar died in Data Darbar area under mysterious circumstances. The body was shifted to a morgue and police were trying to trace out the relatives of the deceased.
Boy hit by stray bullet dies in hospital: A 13-year-old boy died on Saturday when she was hit by a stray bullet in Islampura area.
According to details, Awais Khan, son of Muhammad Ashraf and a resident of Naseem Park Islamapura, was standing at the balcony of his house when a stray bullet hit him.
He was quickly shifted to a nearby hospital where the doctors declared him dead.
Muhammad Ashraf later told police that he had no enmity with anyone, after which police started investigation into the matter.
