Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) young leader Faisal Javed Khan on Friday challenged the PPP Chairman Bilawal Zardari for a live television debate over the issues being faced by the people at large with the party’s Deputy Secretary Information Faisal Javed Khan stating that the new generation of the elites of the country had no comprehension of the problems being faced by the common man and so they could not resolve it.

Addressing a press conference here at PTI Central Secretariat, Faisal, who was flanked by around a dozen young workers of the PTI, said that the politics of dynasties could never face the vigour and vision of the youth on the streets who were better informed on the problems of the general public.

Other young leaders of PTI including Chaudhry Rizwan, Malik Rizwan Ahmad, Tahir Jamil, Ali Awan, Irfan Qamar, Adnan Randhawa, Sajjad Fayaz, Aneela Khwaja, Asma Ehsan, Malaika Raza, Dr Abida Raja, Dia Rehman along with other party leaders.

Criticizing the traditional political parties of the country, Faisal Javed said that on one side, there would be a follower of traditional politics and on other, the PTI youngsters had been given a chance to become a leader on merit-based policy.

He said that the most corrupt regimes of the PPP and the PML-N had come to an end, adding that the youth should now come forward to save the country. He said that the nepotism and corruption by federal and provincial governments has sabotaged the country but now the youth would bring the country out of crisis under the leadership of Imran Khan.

“PTI is going to hold a historic public gathering on March 23rd at Minar-e-Pakistan where 80,000 elected office bearers of the party will participate,” said Faisal, adding that the a movement for ‘New Pakistan’ would also be started on the same day.

He said that many youngsters had also submitted their nomination papers for contesting the elections for Member National Assembly’s and Member Provincial Assembly’s. “PTI is the only party which has brings an end to traditional politics,” he added. The PTI leader said that the public would have to think while casting their votes that what the traditional parties have done for them in past.

He expressed determination that the youth would play their vital role for the welfare of country under the leadership of Imran Khan. Faisal pointed out that the government the corruption, unemployment and terrorism has reached to an alarming level but the so-called democratic government had done nothing to resolve the crisis being faced by the common masses.

  1. This report is a poor reflection of the quality of reporting. The theme of the news has been ignored by this uneducated person.Instead of the picture of Mr.Faisal Javed Khan and his companions he puts on Bilawal's pic. This reporter or composer needs to be shown the door unless he has big Sifarish.

  2. I wonder if Bilawal is aware of issues like "load shedding" "traffic jam", "non availability of gas", "hike in petrol prices" and the problems which Pakistanis face in their daily life.

  3. Bilawal is aware about all the problems facing by PPP and infact I am waiting for his response on this issue. He is a son of Benazir, He will let this guy know ..

      • It is due to persons like Mr. Mirza that country is in a mess.I am amazed at his comment. He forgets who the father is.

        • And you think country wud be out of mess if u assume charge. So simple. You hv mind of a corporate clerk. Pakistan is full of conflicting interests and I fear my comments wud be censored by idiots siting on editorial staff as always ever.

    • How does being son of Benazir makes him more prepared? or having Zardari as his father, makes him unprepared for that matter?

  4. The challenge is genuine and if Mr.Bilal aspires to be the leader he should accept it. The debate should be moderated by an experienced young neutral person so that it does not degnerate into name calling. The ball is in your court Bilal. Stand up and be counted or be confined to the dustbin of history.

    • Dont think Bilawal is so naive as not to understand PTI junior leadership efforts for coming in lime light. He knows at least this much politics how peope make efforts fool others to create popular issues. He or at least people around him are cleverer than those who put this challenge to him. He would not give inportance to them by even speaking a word over it.

  5. The young guy wasn`t even given his fathers name so that he could inherit the leadership. Personally i dont blame him- its in his blood to loot and plunder, i blame the stupidity of the population for electing these muppets.

  6. Is the Bilwalal the one whose surname was changed so that he could inherit the dynastic leadership of his party?

    • Yes he is the same Bilawal and that shows his 'credentials' if any. When in need "gadhay ko baap bananay wali baat hey".

        • Dear reality, would you like to give one good reason for Bilawal's name to be changed from Bilawal Zardari to Bilawal BHUTTO Zardari except using that name for illegitimately inheriting the political dynasty. And by the way what point you are trying to make if Yahya Khan was also a Ravian, and what is nasty about that??

  7. Bilawal has no idea whats its like to suffer,he has been raised with silver spoon with the money that belongs to the people of Pakistan, what has happened in the past some years is that he has been coached to eventually lead the PPP,so he knows all too well how to get infront of a microphone and make empty promises(lies) This should have been done with no notice to either party to see how much these youngsters know about economy, budgets and how to govern. don't belong to any political party,I belong to Pakistan and I'm with any citizen who wants to see the country make progress.

  8. Bilawal wasnt even present at any of the pakistan forums held at Oxford University. He likes to be referred to as Bill in the UK. These elites need to be eliminated, politically speaking!
