Sh Rashid sees plot to delay general elections

Awami Muslim League (AML) leader Sheikh Rashid Ahmed Friday said that an organized conspiracy is being hatched to delay the next general elections.

He urged the Pakistan Army to stand behind Chief Justice of Supreme Court to conduct free and fair elections in the country.

Speaking to party workers at Lal Haveli here on Friday, Rasheed said that a five-year term of plunderers is going to end today. “Economy has been ruined while law and order situation is terrible,” he said.

He said that Badami Bagh was vacated in the supervision of police to give the land to qabza mafia.

No opposition party took to the streets during the five years of the PPP government, he said, adding that those involved in ephedrine cases remained in the parliament.

The AML leader announced that he would contest polls in NA 55 and 56 in the upcoming general elections. NNI
