Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Tharparkar took out a salvation day rally here on Saturday against Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) government over the end of its five-year tenure.
The rally marched through various roads of the city amid sloganeering against the PPP government.
Speaking on the occasion, local PML-N leader Irshad Kumbhar said that the five-year-tenure of the PPP government was a great trouble for the people. “The people are celebrating the salvation day today,” he added.
He said that the PPP gave hunger and poverty to the people but did not do any significant work for the benefits of the common man.
PML-N members Mansoor Chandio and Iqbal Kumbhar also spoke on the occasion.
