It was another major setback for Q-League as its main leader and federal minister Waqas Akram on Thursday joined rivalry faction of Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz).
Federal education minister Waqas Akram met Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif in the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) secretariat here.
After hours long meeting Waqas Akram announced his decision for joining the PML-N.
Speaking to media persons the powerful pillar of Q-league said that he quitted his party on principles as Q-league was not delivering and severing the nation but to enjoy the rule.
Wakas said he had differences with Q-league leadership as even remaining in government he exposed corruption case within alliance government.
He thanked N-league leadership for giving him space in their party saying that Nawaz Sharif was only leader who can save and protect the country.
Akram said he will do everything in his power to make a better Pakistan together with the PML-N.
Shahbaz Sharif, on occasion, welcomed Waqas Akram saying every clean man would be welcomed in the party.
The CM said that Wakas Akram did not have any corruption allegations against him.
He said it was right of every leader to choose the right party.
The party plans to start a public university in Jhang was also announced
Meanwhile Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) is likely to lose two more key members as Faisal Saleh Hayat and Riaz Fatiyana would also announce to join PML-N.
This the true face of a Pakistani politician Hypocrite, Parasite and an Opportunist.
I hope we get rid of these turn coats with the grace of Allah.
