Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain on Wednesday offered himself for the caretaker prime minister’s slot.
Following a reception in honour of Pakistan’s Kabaddi team at Muslim League House, Hussain told reporters that a vigorous consultation was in progress for the selection of a consensus caretaker prime minister.
When asked about the suitable name for the caretaker PM, he said, “You could take my name for the caretaker PM.”
Evading a question as to whether he would receive the former president Pervez Musharraf at the airport on his return home, he told the questioner, “You better represent me at the airport.”
