PML-N has constituted Parliamentary Boards (PB) to select candidates for National and provincial assemblies seats.
The boards which have been set up in all the four provinces under the directives of PML-N President Nawaz Sharif will evolve recommendations in respect of the candidates to be fielded by the party to contest election on national and provincial assemblies seats. The central parliamentary board will accord final approval to the candidates.
Mian Shahbaz Sharif will head the PB constituted for Punjab province. This 23-member board will include opposition leader in national assembly Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Ishaq Dar, Sardar Zulfiqar Khosa, Khawaja Saad Rafiq, Ahsan Iqbal, Hamza Shahbaz Sharif, Rana Sana Ullah Khan and Tehmina Daultana.
