At least 40 people were injured when a passenger bus fell off a bridge near Rawalpindi on Tuesday.
Police said the incident took place near Chakbeli area of Rawalpindi when an overloaded bus veered off the bridge.
According to rescue teams, more than 40 people, including women and children, were injured in the incident.
Police and rescue teams shifted the injured to hospitals, many of the wounded are said to be in critical state.
Police said the driver, who was also injured, might have lost control over the vehicle due to over-speeding.
Further investigations into the incident have been started.
