Malik, Dr Asim to retain public offices after dissolution of the cabinet

Two influential members of the federal cabinet are likely to retain public offices after the dissolution of the National Assembly and the cabinet.

Media Reports said that Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik and Federal Minister for Petroleum Dr Asim Hussain will retain public offices even after the . This decision has been taken by senior leadership of the Pakistan Peoples Party, sources said.

Malik will be retained as Security Adviser to the President while Dr Hussain will assume new duties at the presidency as Personal Physician of the President.
