At least three persons, including two policemen, were killed and 18 others civilians were injured when a suicide bomber rammed his explosive laden motorbike into a police mobile on Tuesday, police said.
As per details, a police mobile carrying five cops was targeted by the suicide bomber, as soon as it left the police station for its routine patrolling.
The blast killed three persons, including two policemen, right on the spot and injured 18 others including three policemen who were sitting in the mobile.
The police van was completely destroyed in the blast.
The injured were shifted to a nearby hospital where several of them were in critical condition.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack yet.
The incident happened at about 1:00 p.m. outside a police station located in Saddar area of Bannu.
