Will rebuild Joseph Town if Punjab government allows: Malik Riaz

Malik Riaz, the property tycoon, stated that he was still waiting for the Punjab government’s reply over his offer for rebuilding the houses in Jospeh Town.

Raiz, the most influential but controversial figure in Pakistan politics, said on Sunday that he was ready to construct homes which were ransacked and burnt by an angry mob in the Joseph Colony area of Badami Bagh if the provincial government allowed.

An angry mob on Saturday ransacked and burnt the colony over alleged blasphemy.

On Monday, he said that he was ready bear all the expenses over the reconstruction all the affected house. He said that he was waiting for the Punjab government’s necessary approvals and permission to rebuild the homes.

The cat is out of the bag.It was said by a renowned and highly regarded personality on the TV that the whole excercize was the job of LAND MAFIA and now the Don himself has spoken.Punjab Govt IS WORKING HAND in GLOVE with this man. Does Shahbaz fulfill the requirements of Artcles 62 and 63? I have my doubts and I am not the only one.

  2. What he aimed to be after constructing palace for Zardari at Raiwind ,he intend to construct these small houses and grab further govt land as per his policy .He should be stopped forth with.

  3. How much of the reconstruction benefit the 'benefactor'?

    All very fishy. I bet the land is worth millions and the affected will end up being relocated.
