In a meeting held at the Chief Minister house, Chief Minister (CM) Shahbaz Sharif stated that restoration works in Badami Bagh would be initiated immediately.
The CM condemned the attacks and stated the Badami Bagh incident as “the worst example of barbarism” and that those involved in the incident would not be forgiven.
The CM added that the incident had ruined Pakistan’s image in the global community and that the burning of Christian homes would not do any service to the country or to Islam.
The CM added that those responsible for the incident were being apprehended and would be punished.
