Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Engineer Shaukatullah on Sunday said that peace, normalcy and promotion of quality education in FATA would remain a priority in his efforts for sustainable development in the region.
Furthermore, he requested the people of the region to join hands with him in ensuring the completion of educational institutions and the provision of education to all children of the area.
Addressing delegations of tribal elders and youth belonging to various areas of Peshawar, Khyber, Mohmand, Bajaur agencies at Governor’s House, he stressed upon the elders the need for quality education in the area.
Responding to queries by tribal elders, the governor said that he would contact the authorities of TESCO to apprise him about ground work done to address their grievances.
He added that special measures were underway to enhance the infrastructure especially in education and health sector.
As far as the deficiency of staff in educational and health institutions, re-construction of buildings and link road were concerned, the governor also assured to contact the appropriate authorities.
The governor said that it was his utmost duty to ensure provision of CNICs to the people of FATA within their respective tribal agencies, adding he was in close contact with the officials of NADRA in this regard.
