Punjab chapter Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) President Manzoor Ahmad Wattoo on Sunday said the PPP would sweep the upcoming general elections in Punjab.
Talking to reporters, Wattoo said that Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif had visited his constituency to influence his voters. He said that the government would give subsidy to the farmers regarding electricity bills to bring a revolution in the agriculture sector.
He said all resources would be utilised to rehabilitate and protect the Christian community. It was the need of the hour to promote religious harmony in the country, he added. He also lauded President Asif Zardari for signing Pakistan-Iran Gas Pipeline agreement and handing over Gwadar Port to a Chinese company, which would uplift the economy of country.
