Crime on the rise in Naudero

The incidents of motorcycle snatching have increased manifold in the limits of Naundero Police Station, while police are not taking any steps to check the rising crime graph in the area.
According to details, three motorcycles have been snatched in the past one week by a gang of three criminals who used a motorcycle to rob citizens.
Farhan Pahore, a student of Dokri Agricultural College, Ghulam Muhammad Mirani, SSGC employee and Nawaz Memon, a shopkeeper, were intercepted by three armed men near Achan Shah bus spot on Naundero-Larkana road in the limits of Naudero Police Station and deprived of their motorcycles and other valuables.
They told PPI that there were three criminals, among whom two were holding pistols and the third had a knife. They said these bandits mostly operated in the morning, when people had to go to Larkana for work or in the evening when they were returning home. They said that despite the increase in such incidents, no action by the police was witnessed and the Naundero-Larkana road was becoming a no-go road for motorcyclists.
These people further said that they informed the SSP’s control room about the incidents but to no avail.
When the Naudero Police Station SHO Sadoro Lashari was contacted he said that he was unaware of these incidents as nobody had lodged any FIR in this regard. He further said that police could not do anything until it received a formal complaint.
In a separate incident, the house of a policeman was robbed at village Hassan Wahan on Saturday night in the jurisdiction of Naudero Police Station.
Constable Akbar Channo told media persons that eight armed men barged into his house at 2.30 am and caught hold of all family members at gunpoint. They took away valuables including his official rifle and two buffaloes.
The citizens of Naudero have urged the authorities concerned to take notice of the increasing crime in the area.
