A fashion show and a exhibition was held on Friday at the Lahore Chamber of Commerce (LCCI), organised by LCCI head of standing committee Asia Saail khan for the occasion of International Women’s Day.
A three-day exhibition, also arranged by LCCI Committee for the Development of Women Entrepreneurs at the LCCI premises, was also inaugurated by LCCI President Farooq Iftikhar.
The show and exhibition was planned to promote the fashion industry besides supporting women entrepreneurship in Pakistan for the economic empowerment of women.
The brands including designer collection, Victoria Textiles, Beech Tree, Silk Enterprise, Amon’s Fashions, Tania’s Collection and Pakistan Institute of Fashion Design displayed their eye-catching exclusive styles. The basic concept of the fashion show and exhibition was to provide a platform to the talented designers who were able to perform or visualize their works.
Eshwah Abuzar, owner of Victoria Textiles said, “Designing the clothes was my passion and I stared doing it from an early age. My family supports me a lot in this profession and they provided me the platform to work.”
