Carrie Fisher has revealed that she will once again be donning the white gown and boofy wig buns as Princess Leia in the new Star Wars movie. In an interview with Palm Beach Illustrated, the 56-year-old actress jokingly replied to a question about her character’s age, “Elderly. She’s in an intergalactic old folks home.” When Fisher was asked if she could confirm her appearance in the new Star Wars Episode VII, she said yes, the Daily Telegraph reported. She said that thinks that she will be just like she was before, only slower and less inclined to be up for the big battle. She joked that her character will be wearing bagel buns and the bikini, because probably she has sundowners syndrome adding that at sundown, she thinks that she’s 20-something and she puts it on and gets institutionalised. Earlier, Harrison Ford had also confirmed that he will be returning as an older Han Solo. Only one of the original trio of actors has yet to comment on a return to the silver screen: Mark Hamill, who played the young Luke Skywalker.
