The main accused Shahrukh Jatoi in Shahzeb Khan’s murder case, escaped with the help of officers from the Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) who had earlier been managing protocol for Bilawal House guests, revealed Director FIA Mohammed Malik before the Supreme Court on Thursday.
The Director FIA appeared before the Supreme Court bench on Thursday and revealed that Shahrukh Jatoi had also been a guest at the Bilawal House, and that one of the officers Waseh Akhter had secured bail before arrest on the 28th of February.
The Chief Justice remarked that FIA Director General must keep in mind that nobody is above the law.
Meanwhile, Shahrukh Jatoi along with three others was indicted by the ATC today in Karachi. Shahrukh Joti, Siraj Talpur, Sajjad Talpur and Ghulam Murtaza Lashari were produced before an Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) amid tight security, where they were indicted in the murder of 20-year old Karachi youth Shahzeb Khan.
However, the accused pleaded not guilty. The ATC has directed all the witnesses in the case to appear before the court on Friday.
