National Database & Registration Authority on Thursday sought remaining dues of Rs9 million from Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) for printing electoral papers and lists on schedule, warning that non payment could delay the printing process.
According to NADRA, Election Commission has paid Rs2.6 million for printing and remaining amount of Rs9 million is immediately required in this regard. The sources said that if the remaining dues were not paid to NADRA, the printing of electoral papers and lists could be delayed because NADRA needs a month to print the required number of papers.
The sources further said that the federal government is to pay Rs2.75 billion to NADRA.
