Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has questioned the results of IRI public survey pertaining to popularity of political parties but said that the PTI’s popularity graph is falling because it is busy in its intra-party election.
A recent IRI public survey has showed that the PTI’s popularity graph is decreasing since last few months while the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) graph going upward.
Addressing a press conference here on Thursday, the PTI chairman said that he was not able to understand as to what achievement of the PPP and the PML-N made the actuaries to show their graph upward.
He said that the opposition’s nominated Justice (retd) Nasir Aslam Zahid’s for the slot of interim prime minister was respectable, however the final decision would be taken in his party meeting.
He said that the scrutiny of the people who joined the PTI had been completed. He added that the PTI would not give tickets to looters and those who will not show their assets.
Khan announced that Ashraf Jahangir will be the PTI’s spokesman over foreign affairs, adding that Pakistan’s foreign policy will key in the coming years
