Pakistan-India Snooker Series postponed

KMC Pakistan-India snooker series scheduled to be played from March 7 at Karachi has been postponed as the Indian Travel Advisory Board has restricted the Indian team to travel to Pakistan due to security concerns. “We were all set for staging the event and now we have been informed by the Billiards& Snooker Federation of India that the players from India will not be able to participate in the above event as the Indian Travel Advisory Board has restricted the Indian team to travel to Pakistan”, said Alamgir A Shaikh, President, Pakistan Billiards & Snooker Association here on Monday.
He said PBSA and the CSR, Department, K.M.C. has decided to postpone the series for the and its new dates will be announced in due course of time.
“The PBSA is thankful to the Administrator, K.M.C, Syed Hashim Raza Zaidi for his support in sponsoring the event and we hope to receive their patronage in future to hold this event at a later date”, he added.
