Pakistan Bacahao train march welcomed in Multan

A large number of activists from various political parties welcomed the Pakistan Bachao march when it reached Multan Railway Station on Tuesday.

Activists of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Jamiat Ulema-e -Islam-Fazlur Rehman (JUI-F) Pakistan Muslim League-Functional (PML-F), Jamiat Ulema-e-Pakistan (JUP) and others were present at Multan Railway Station to receive opposition parties’ train march.

The train march started from Karachi on Sunday and after short stays at Rohri and Rahimyar Kahan, reached Multan.

Jamat-e-Islami Sindh chief Dr Merajul Huda Siddiqui addressed the march at Rahimyar Khan.

Merjaul Huda said in his address to party activists at Rohri Station that the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) was being held hostage in Karachi and transparent polls seemed impossible in Pakistan’s largest city.

Despite instructions of the Supreme Court, delimitation had not been initiated and political forces in the city had joined hands to bring peace back in Karachi, he said.
