The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Monday assured the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) that it would submit the details of intra-party polls by March 15.
According to sources, all major parties except the PTI have fulfilled the ECP’s requirements to get election symbol.
The PTI leaders contacted the ECP and assured that they would meet the requirements by March 15.
On the other hand, the ECP has directed the district returning officers to set up monitoring teams.
In every constituency, each monitoring team will have two officers. The monitoring team will include senior officials of bureaucracy, sources said.
