Ten killed in roadside bombing in Afghanistan

Ten Afghans including three civilians and seven Border Police Force officers were killed as  a police van was bombed on the roadside, in Kunar province, 185 km east of Kabul, on Saturday, Pakistan Today has learnt.

“A mine planted by militants struck a vehicle of Border Police Force in Dangam district on Thursday afternoon killing 10 people including seven policemen and three civilians,” Matiullah, the police chief of Dangam district said.

He also put the attack on the enemies of peace, a term used against Taliban fighters by officials for organizing the deadly bombing. However, the outfit fighting the government has yet to make comment
