Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) member of the Punjab provincial assembly Malik Fiaz Awan on Friday formally resigned from his seat in the legislature amid rifts with the party leadership.
According to details, Awan submitted his resignation letter to the speaker, which had not as yet been accepted.
Awan was elected from constituency 107 in Hafizabad.
According to reports, he has not shown an interest in joining any party as yet.
