Three gunned down in city

Three people were killed in separate firing incidents in the city on Thursday.
A 25-year-old man, Muhammad Irfan, son of Abdul Aziz, resident of Khokhrapar, was gunned down by unidentified armed men in Memon Goth within the limits of Memon Goth police station. The body was moved to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for medico-legal formalities.
In another incident, 45-year-old Hajji Bux, son of Siddiq, was killed in firing by unknown armed men in Janjaal Goth, Gulshan-e-Maymar, within the jurisdiction of Gulshan-e-Maymar police station. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital Karachi for an autopsy.
Similarly, 22-year-old Danish Abbas, son of Ghaffar Abbas, was shot dead by unidentified armed men in Al-Noor Society, within the precincts of Samanabad police station. The body was brought to JPMC for a postmortem.
Police said the victim received three bullets in his upper torso and died on the spot. The police have registered FIR 22/2013 under section 302 against unidentified armed men. Further investigation was underway.
