Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) head Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain has again been elected the president of the party unopposed.
According to results of the intra-party elections held by the PML-Q, Mushahid Hussain Syed was reelected secretary general unopposed, while Pervaiz Elahi was elected president of the Punjab wing of the party.
Intra-party polls are being conducted in various parties since the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has made them mandatory for parties who wanted to contest in the upcoming elections.
Shujaat has held the post since the establishment of the party.
