Neelum Deputy Commissioner Raja Saqib Muneer on Thursday fell victim to land sliding while he was on his way to the valley and died on the spot.
His body was handed over to the bereaved family after post-mortem. Police officials, army officers, members of the PML-N, and other important personalities attended his funeral held at the Prime Minister’s Secretariat.
Muneer’s driver, Iqbal Shah and the gunman who accompanied him both narrowly escaped the accident.
