The Judicial Commission probing the Lal Masjid incident submitted an application with the Supreme Court on Thursday and asked for another two weeks to release its final recommendations.
The Judicial Commission issued notices to former president Pervez Musharraf and former premier Shaukat Aziz, the main accused in the case.
According to sources, the commission could not finalise its recommendations within the given time-period, which is why it had asked the apex court for more time.
