Capital Development Authority, after launching an operation against illegal kiosks, issued notices to the parties who had illegally occupied land in the federal capital.
A three-member committee had also been constituted in this regard. The committee would conduct a survey in the rural areas and strict measures would be taken against the land-mafia.
Sources were of the view that the Enforcement Directorate had worked out a comprehensive strategy to get rid of fake owners who were taking patronage of politically influential people.
Sources said 14 kiosks in front of PIMS had been demolished and owners of 25 kiosks besides the Polyclinic Hospital had already been issued notices.
